Helps to eliminate bump steer. "Bump Steer" is when the front toe setting changes as the suspension moves up and down. If you have a lowered GM 1964-1972 A-Body this is a must have. Born out of the necessity to correct bump steer in stock suspension and pro street drag racing classes. Even though these kits where designed for drag racing they will also inhance the performance in any application. These bump steer kits will replace your tie rod ends to maintain the correct steering geometry. The bump steer kits consist of CNC aluminum shaft and Chrome-Moly rod ends grade 8 hardware and a variety of spacers, for a strong, quality product. Two application available: One for the factory steering, directly replaces tie rods. One for front steer pinto style rack and pinion kits, like the TRZ Manual Pinto Rack N Pinion Conversion Kit.

Note:

Tie Rod hole on spindle must be drilled to 1/2" unless used with TRZ Steering Arms.

Will not work with a rear steer rack n pinion.

Quick Install Instructions:

The TRZ Bump Steer kits can only go on one way and then the spacers are to adjust the height of the tie-rod up or down, depending which way you need to go. Basically, at ride height, get the angle of the lower control arm between where it is bolted in the frame and where the ball joint pivots (center of the ball joint cup on the lower control arm). Whatever angle that is on, set your tie rod to that same angle using some, or all, or none of those spacers that were supplied in the kit.
